Combining the shape and construction of 2020's Floor Shirt with the shoulders of 2014's Driver's Jacket and classic Tender shirt cuffs, the Open Shoulder Floor Shirt is constructed with elongated front and back panels which overlap, forming a double thickness open yoke at the shoulders without any additional seams. The back yoke is held in place by the size label, which is sewn all the way through the back and fronts.
Cut from Tricolore Weft Cotton Canvas, this can be worn as a heavier shirt or very nicely as a lightweight summer jacket.

Tricolore Weft Canvas is a plain weave cloth woven on a fine ecru cotton warp, with a three ply mercerised cotton weft.The three weft yarns are red, white, and blue, twisted up like a traditional barber’s pole. The barber’s pole is a trade symbol that dates to the middle ages, when it represented the trades of surgery and dentistry, as well as hair cutting.

Because the face of the yarn that shows in any particular weaving cross is random, the surface of the fabric has a dancing moiré-like appearance, similar to a yarn-dyed Indonesian ikat fabric. As the fabric itself is relatively open, the individual yarn texture is evident in the surface of the cloth, with a surface somewhat similar to Ghanaian kente cloth.
